Research Degree (PhD) at the Faculty of Health Tourism
A Research Degree (PhD) is the highest level of academic qualification, awarded to individuals who make an original contribution to knowledge in the field of health tourism. It is primarily focused on independent research that advances understanding of therapeutic tourism, environmental healing practices, medical tourism systems, and sustainable wellness destinations.
During a PhD program in the Faculty of Health Tourism, students work closely with a supervisor to develop a research topic—such as the efficacy of sulphurous water therapies in chronic disease management, inclusive health tourism models for seniors and disabled populations, or economic impacts of eco-healing retreats in Africa and the Arab world—conduct in-depth studies, analyze findings, and present their work in the form of a thesis or dissertation
